No Fuss Bangers & Mash Pie!
If you love bangers and mash, then you are going to love this! It's getting a bit cooler now, so the warming comfort foods we all love are back on the menu. This recipe turns your traditional bangers and mash on it's head by turning it into a pie. Top tip, get good sausages!
To make my bangers and mash pie you will need:
8 good quality pork sausages
About 700ml of beef stock
2 medium onions
1 bay leaf
1 tsp of thyme
1 tsp of rosemary
2 tsp of worcester sauce
1+1/2 tbsp plain flour
1+1/2 tbsp of butter
Salt and pepper
A little oil
For the mash
1.2kg of maris piper potatoes
125g of unsalted butter
About 50ml of milk
Salt & white pepper
Grated cheddar (optional)
